Dailyevery athlete coached, every rep watched

Built only for guards.

Most camps lump every position into the same drills. We don't. For five days, every rep, every read, every film clip is built around the position that runs the team.

Elite ball-handling under pressure

Tight-space dribbling, full-court press breakers, two-ball series, change-of-pace combos — drilled at game speed with live defenders, not cones.

Shooting — catch & off the dribble

Catch-and-shoot footwork, side-step and step-back mechanics, pull-up off ball screens, deep range work. Rep counts tracked daily.

Guard-specific scoring

Reading the pick-and-roll, attacking closeouts, manipulating pace, finishing through contact, floaters, and tear-drops over length.

Leadership, comms & IQ

Film breakdown, on-court vocabulary, huddle leadership, reading defenses pre-snap. Guards don't just play the game — they call it.

The 5-Day Plan.

Every day runs 8 AM–2 PM — five hours of on-court work plus a one-hour lunch break for rest and recovery (lunch and drinks provided). Skills block in the morning, IQ/film at midday, live competition in the afternoon.

01
Foundation & Assessment
Baseline skills evaluation, handle fundamentals reset, shot mechanics check, intro to camp competition system. You'll know your starting point.
02
Handle Under Pressure
Two-ball series, tight-space combos, full-court press breakers, live 1-on-1 with traps and trail defenders. Decisions made at speed.
03
Shooting — Catch & Dribble
Footwork progressions, side-step and step-back, pull-ups out of pick-and-roll. High-volume rep count tracked. Make rate posted.
04
PNR, Pace & Finishing
Reading the screen, snake dribble, rejecting, finishing through length with both hands. Film session: NBA & college guards we model after.
05
Lead The Team
Live 5-on-5 with decision constraints, leadership lab (huddle, on-court calls), final assessment.

Common questions.

Who is this camp for?

Middle school (6th–8th grade) and high school (9th–12th grade) point guards and shooting guards. Combo guards welcome. We split into age and skill groups so reps are competitive without being overmatched.

What if my athlete plays multiple positions?

If they handle the ball or shoot off the dribble at any point in a game, this camp is for them. The skill set is the same — read, decide, score, lead.

How many coaches per athlete?

We cap each session at 30 athletes and run with a 1:6 coach-to-player ratio or better. Every rep gets watched. Every athlete gets coached every day.

What's included?

25 hours of instruction, a camp reversible jersey and camp t-shirt, pre/post skill assessment with written feedback, and daily film sessions. Lunch and drinks are provided each day. Athletes just bring a ball (optional).

Where in Honolulu?

Uptempo Athletics training facility, Honolulu HI. Exact address and parking info sent on registration confirmation.
